Puppy Foundations

Saturdays @ 10AM;  Mondays @ 7PM

Puppies 10-24 wks old

 This class focuses on the basics puppies need to be successful in a human centered world and basic skills their humans need to guide them. This includes basic handler skills, reading body language, basics about puppies, recall, go to mat, cooperative care, drop it, leash walking, and more.

Adolescent Manners

Saturdays @ 11:30PM & Tuesdays @ 7PM

Dogs 6 mos-2 yrs

 Adolescent dogs can be challenging to work with. At this age, they may ignore you, jump around,  or bark too much. In this class, you will learn what is normal for adolescents, what overarousal is and how to avoid it, loose leash walking, recall, attention to handler, skills to promote calmness, and impulse control.

 Choose Your Own Adventure: Have Fun WITH Your Dog! 

Saturdays @ 1PM; Fridays @ 7PM

Dogs 6 mos & older

Looking for a class that’s challenging, fun, and more than the same old obedience type thing? This is it! Your trainer will teach and guide you and your pup that challenges the mind and body while building trust and relationship. No two classes are the same, which makes this the perfect class to repeat throughout the great months of winter.

What Your Dog's Nose Knows! : Intro to Scentwork

Wednesdays @ 7PM

Dogs 6 mos & older

Scentwork draws on our dog’s natural abilities, engaging them mentally while allowing us to partner with our dogs. In this class, you will learn the need-to-know basics of scentwork, like dog body language. And you'll build your & your dog's communication. Just for fun or looking to compete, this is a great class to start.

Reactivity: The Basics

Saturdays @ 2:30PM; Thursdays @ 7PM

Dogs 6 mos & older

Barking, pulling on the leash, stopping and staring, grumbling - are these some of the behaviors your dog does when seeing other dogs or people? You're not alone! This six week class is for the dog who needs extra help adjusting to the challenges of the world and for the human who needs help guiding them. This class is not for dogs who have a bite history. 

The first session will be a Zoom session to review class setup, basic handling skills, and basic skills to work on before the first in-person class. An email will be sent out before the Zoom meeting explaining more.
